Snow Blowing & Plowing

November 15th-April 1st

Snow Blowing/Plowing Guide - Tips (click here)

Overview:

We have been in the snow business since 2007. In 2011 we started snow blowing driveways with a Bobcat skid steer rather than a truck and plow. The results were great and we soon realized there were many advantages to snow blowing over plowing. Most of Canada relies on snow blowing over plowing, and recently many manufactures have developed new and innovative snow blowers designed for contractors like us who specialize in residential snow blowing services.

For the 2018-2019 winter we added 3 additional tractors and snow blowers into our fleet, 4 more in 2019-2020, another 3 for 2020-2021, and 3 more for the 2021-2022 season. Bringing our total to 15 tractors and 3 trucks. For the 2022-2023 season we now have 19 Tractors and 3 trucks. The majority of our snow business is snow blowing.

Advantages of snow blowing include:

  • Safety- No huge piles of snow to create blind spots when backing out of driveways

  • Minimal lawn damage- tractors never have to drive off the driveway so there is little to no lawn damage and repair needed come spring.

  • Appearance- Snow blowing leaves clean cut edges to the driveway making driveways look nicer than if they were plowed with a traditional snow plow and truck.
