Steve's Cutting Edge Holiday Lighting LLC

Let's start with what you DON'T get!

When you hire us, you don’t get tangled cords that magically multiply, broken bulbs that only die after you’ve finished the roof, or the annual game of “Will the ladder slip this time?” You also won’t find yourself arguing with a squirrel over who owns the gutter. No frostbite, no cursing at extension cords, and no emergency room visits — just beautiful lights and holiday cheer without the chaos.

What you DO get!

Here’s what you do get when you hire us: premium, commercial-grade lights provided by us, professionally installed by fully trained and insured experts — including certified aerial lift operators who handle the high stuff with ease. Your display comes with a pre-programmed timer so your lights turn on like magic, and if anything goes out or goes wrong, we’ll fix it fast — free of charge, all season long. When the holidays are over, we’ll take everything down and store it for you until next year. All you have to do is enjoy the glow (and maybe take the credit).

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you provide the lights? - Yes

We provide all the lights we use. The lights are leased each year to our customers so you never have to worry about buying lights again.

Do you store the lights? - Yes

The lights are stored inside our climate-controlled warehouse during the off season.

Do you put up the lights? - Yes

How do you attach the lights to the house?

Lights are attached to the roof and gutters using plastic clips to prevent any damage and leave no trace of installation after take down.

What kind of lights do you use?

Lights on our houses are typically C9 LEDs. A C9 bulb is about 2" long and 1" wide. Many C9s can be used without fear of overloading your electrical circuit. Lights on trees are typically either mini-LEDs or C7 bulbs (C7s are about half the size of a C9). The smaller bulbs help keep branches from drooping.

What areas do you service?

We service most of the Rochester area including: Webster, Ontario, Williamson, Penfield, Pittsford, Brighton, Macedon, Farmington, Canandaigua, Victor, Irondequoit, and Greece.

When does  SCE Holiday Lights come to install my lights?

Our main installation season is the month of November but we start installations as soon as October and will continue installs into December for any customers who sign up later in the season.

When does  SCE Holiday Lights come to take down my lights?

We start our take down process in early to mid January. This is dependent on weather and could be delayed if the lights are frozen onto the house.

How much does it cost?

Our packages begin at $520 + tax  for lights on the front roof line of a small house. Most houses fall within a starting range of  $625-$825. How many feet of roofline we light up and other decorations such as wreaths will play a key role in your exact price.
