Terms and Conditions

 

Part III: SERVICE SPECIFICATIONS 

  1. General Mowing Service: Your lawn will receive a weekly mowing, trimming and blowing off. This service will occur Mid April – Mid November for a minimum of 25 cuts a season and a maximum of 30 cuts. Lawn mowers will be adjusted to a height of 2.5-3.5 inches depending on weather and lawn conditions; any less will promote weed growth, disease and pest problems. Clippings will be discharged, dispersed, and left on the lawn to help contain water and return nutrients back in the lawn.

  2. Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. will provide all necessary material(s) and equipment needed to complete the service(s) selected above. All work will be performed in a professional manner according to standard practices. All agreements are contingent upon weather, accidents, and/or any reasons beyond our control.

  

 

Part IV: SERVICE POLICY

  1. Your mowing program is a continuous service from mowing to mowing and year to year with mowing scheduled every week between mid April and mid November for a minimum of 25 cuts a season and a maximum of 30 cuts. You may discontinue services at any time by writing, or calling the office 14 days in advance. Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 1 month of your contract price if service is canceled between May and November.

  2. For your convenience, this contract will automatically renew in one year terms. Before the beginning of each season, a notice of all scheduled services and price changes will be sent to you.

  3. To offset cost increases (i.e. gas), your invoice may reflect an increase in your standard charge.

  4. On the scheduled day of service, it is the CUSTOMER’S responsibility to ensure that the lawn is free of toys, hoses, portable sprinklers, and other objects that interfere with the maintenance of the lawn. Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. will not be responsible for damage caused to or by such items left on the lawn. If foreign objects such as vehicles, trailers, debris, etc. impede the work which is to be performed by Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. those areas will not be serviced. All gated areas must also be accessible and unlocked.

  5. For everyone’s safety, please use caution when approaching, while Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. employees are using equipment. It is especially important to keep children and pets inside the house or business while lawn care equipment is being used.

  6. If a pet is kept at the property, the lawn must be free of pet droppings when Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. is scheduled to service your yard. Failure to do so may result in some spots remaining uncut.

  7. If you use a lawn fertilization service, please schedule it at least two days before Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. arrives on the property for your lawn maintenance.

  8. In the event the Client adds additional turf area, trees, plantings, walks, driveways, or paths that are suitable for edging or other maintenance, Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. shall not be responsible for the care or maintenance of such additional improvements without a written change order.

  9. In the event of inclement weather, Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. may be forced to reschedule a scheduled mowing. Your visit will be scheduled for the next available day. It is understood that depending on the length, and severity of any inclement weather, that it may take Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. varying amounts of time to fulfill the work covered under this service agreement. The client is aware that weather conditions in the area may change rapidly and without notice. Changes in weather conditions are considered to be part of nature and Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. assumes no liability for such.

  10. During hot and dry weather, if you wish for us to skip your lawn, please email us at least 24 hours in advance. If we we arrive and determine your lawn should not be mowed due to drought and lack of growth, Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. reserves the right to skip service that week.

  11. All quotes/estimates are valid for 30 days after the date of proposal as indicated above.

  

Part V: PAYMENT OPTIONS

  1. Automatic Credit Card payments through the Client Portal
    GO PAPERLESS! Each month we will automatically charge the credit card on file, for your monthly mowing service. This is the FASTEST AND EASIEST payment method.

  2. Online Payment though Intuit 
    GO PAPERLESS! Each month we will send out an e-mail containing a link to the Intuit.com payment system, allowing you to pay the invoice online through Intuit. This system is FAST AND EASY.

  3. Cash/Personal/Business/Bank Check/Money Order 
    We will send out a monthly invoice by e-mail or mail, if e-mail is not possible. Upon receiving the invoice you can pay by check or use your bank’s web bill pay system.

 

Part V: PAYMENT TERMS

  1. Invoices will be rendered by Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. to the Client on the 1st of each month, and are due in full by the 15th of the same month. Steve's Cutting Edge Lawn Care Inc. reserves the right to suspend service when payments become past due.

  2. A late fee of $15.00 will be added to your next month’s bill if check is postmarked after the 30th.

  3. This agreement price has been negotiated and agreed upon, based on the Client’s grounds, as they exist on the agreement date.

  4. A service charge of $25.00 will be charged for any returned checks.

  5. Fuel Surcharges to be applied if fuel goes over $5.00 a gallon.

    • If fuel is $5.00-$5.99/gallon a $5.00 surcharge will be added per installment.

    • If fuel is $6.00-$6.99/gallon a $10.00 surcharge will be added per installment.

    • If fuel is $7.00 - $7.99/gallon a $15.00 surcharge will be added per installment.

  6. Customer accepts full financial responsibility for all charges, including any collection costs, and attorney fees incurred to collect on their account.
